BWSR Publishes Report Evaluating Wetland Conservation Policy
Last May Governor Dayton issued an executive order instructing the Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) to evaluate Minnesota’s wetland laws.
Over the last few months we’ve been highlighting some of the more important “Discussion Issues” for your review and input, especially since wetland bankers weren’t included as a stakeholder group in the process.
In response to the executive order, BWSR has released its final report evaluating wetland regulation and conservation policy in Minnesota. The report identifies a number of issues that the agency plans to address and provides recommendations on how it may proceed.
